Laser Tissue Modification
Laser tissue modification
Lasers are the latest technology for soft tissue modification and preventitave care. The laser vaporizes tissue to allow for dry field management and many other dental procedures normally performed surgically. Surface tissues are vaporized in a controlled manner, and the underlying connective tissue is coagulated and the resulting laser wound is self-sealing, requiring no suturing.
Lasers are used in a number of dental procedures
* Recontouring of tissue in between the teeth
* Soft Tissue Crown Lengthening
* Hemostasis
* Frenum Release
* Exposure of slow erupting teeth
* Soft Tissue curettage for periodontal treatment
* Reducing sulcular oral bacteria and other flora
